To help everyone enjoy the Mukwah Jamboree safely and responsibly, please keep the following in mind:
LEAVE NO TRACE: Keep your campsite tidy throughout the weekend and be sure to completely clean up after yourself before leaving
DO NO LITTER ANYWHERE: Use Garbage and recycling bins
NO ROCK-RING FIRES: Fires only allowed at the communal fire pit near the stage area, at campsites with pre-existing pits, and in one of the few portable pits available which can only be used in areas approved by Mukwah Tours staff or Mukwah Jamboree volunteers – sharing of fire pits is strongly encouraged
‘Mukwah’ is Ojibwa for ‘bear’ – perhaps not coincidently, it’s also an area prone to bear sightings, so be responsible with your storage and disposal of food and garbage
Rafting patrons at Mukwah Tours include families and people who aren’t necessarily out there for the festival, so show respect, act accordingly and do not disturb their campsites
No fireworks or irresponsible behaviour with fire
Noise levels must be kept to a minimum once the stage is shut down after Friday and Saturday evening performances
It’s the great outdoors, so take care and look out for one another
In case of emergency, report to the Central Tent at the stage area or to the Mukwah Tours office
NOTE: The management and staff of Mukwah Tours, as well as the organizers of the Mukwah Jamboree are not responsible for anyone’s property damage or personal injury while they are attending the Mukwah Jamboree.
