Follow these directions to get to Mukwah Tours, the host site of the Mukwah Jamboree:

From Sundre (45min.): Head west out of Sundre on highway 27, look for "Mukwah" signs and turn south on Coal Camp Road. Travel for approximately 50km and watch for more Mukwah sings, as well as signs leading to the Mountain-Aire Lodge. Mukwah base camp is 2.5 km southwest of the Lodge.

From Calgary* (2 hours): Travel west on Highway 1, and then head north on Highway 22 towards Cochrane.  Go through Cochrane on continue north on Highway 22.  Next head west on Highway 27 towards Sundre. Once past Sundre look for "Mukwah" signs and turn south on Coal Camp Road. Travel for approximately 50km and watch for more Mukwah sings, as well as signs leading to the Mountain-Aire Lodge. Mukwah base camp is 2.5 km southwest of the Lodge.

*For those more slightly adventurous drivers wanting the scenic route from Calgary – and if the weather/driving conditions are good – there is a gravely alternative. Travel west on Highway 1, then head north on Highway 22 towards Cochrane. Take Highway 1A west of Cochrane and watch for "Mukwah" signs. Turn right and head north on to Highway 40 (Forest Trunk Road). Travel for approximately 85km and watch for more Mukwah sings, as well as signs leading to the Mountain-Aire Lodge. Mukwah base camp is 2.5 km southwest of the Lodge.

From Edmonton (3.5 hours) & Red Deer (1.75 hours): Travel South on Highway 2, and then head west on Highway 27 towards Sundre. Watch for "Mukwah" sings once past Sundre, and turn South on Coal Camp Road. Travel for approximately 50km and watch for more Mukwah sings, as well as signs leading to the Mountain-Aire Lodge. Mukwah base camp is 2.5 km southwest of the Lodge.
